Online Tutoring: Flexible Support That Fits Your Family

Online tutoring has become one of the most effective ways we support children with SEND.

Why online tutoring works:

  • No travel required- Your child learns from the comfort of their own home

  • Reduced anxiety- Familiar surroundings mean less stress and more focus

  • It’s flexible and accessible- No matter where you live in the UK, you can access our specialist tutors

  • Consistency- Bad weather or illness don't interrupt progress

  • Sensory-friendly- Your child can use their preferred tools, lighting, and seating

  • Technology makes lessons engaging- We use Pencil Spaces, software that combines video, interactive whiteboards and educational games. Sessions are visual, hands-on and fun

All our tutors are:

  • Qualified teachers or specialist SEN professionals

  • Fully DBS checked

  • Experienced with diverse learning needs

  • Skilled in making online learning engaging

They build confidence, work at your child's pace, and celebrate every win.

Special Offer: 10% Off Your First Month

Book before November 21st and receive 10% off your first month of online tutoring.

SEND Reform White Paper Delayed Until 2026

Last week, the government announced that the SEND reform white paper has been delayed until 2026. I have mixed feelings about this.

The Positive: Taking time for real consultation with families matters. If this delay means more voices are heard and better co-production happens, that's progress.

The Concern: Thousands of families are now in limbo. Will their legal rights remain? Will support be taken away? The uncertainty is cruel for families already navigating an overstretched system.

What Needs to Happen:

  • Transparent Communication - Clear information about what's being reviewed and what protections remain

  • Inclusive Consultation - Accessible pathways for all families to contribute meaningfully

  • Interim Support - Resources for local authorities to support the current system while we wait

Reform needs to be done with families, not to them. The process matters as much as the outcome.
